State parks free on Veterans Day

It isn’t just national parks that are free on Veterans Day, which is Wednesday, Nov. 11.
Most Florida state parks also are offering free admission on Veteran’s Day.

Free ice cream at two chains

Cold Stone Creamery will host the “World’s Largest Ice Cream Social”  from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24. During those hours, you can stop by for a free 3-oounce serving of Jack’s creation—sweet cream ice cream mixed with brownie, sprinkles and fudge.
