Baby story time


On Tuesday, Aug. 23, from 10 to 10:20 a.m., it’s reading ready story time for babies. This one features soothing songs, stories and finger plays for little ones and their caregivers. It happens at the regional library, 227 – 22 St., Miami Beach.

Free craft session in Coconut Grove

It’s Teen Read Week, and the Coconut Grove Library is celebrating with a friendship bracelet craft session on Tuesday, Oct. 19. The event is free, and participants will learn how to create friendship bracelets and cool cuffs. It starts at 6:30 p.m. at the library, located at 2875 McFarlane Rd, in Coconut Grove.
