Carnaval on the Mile in Gables

Coral Gables will be the site for nonstop free music Friday through Sunday as Carnaval on the Mile sets up stages in multiple locations.
The festival begins with a kickoff concert at 7 p.m. Friday, March 5, at Ponce Circle Park. Friday is also Gallery Night and Giralda in the Park.

Free dance programs for children

Momentum Dance Company is presenting free dance performances for children 4 to 10 at the Coral Gables Branch Library.
The Children’s Library Series includes:
• 11 a.m. Saturday, March 6, Goldilocks and the Three Bears and Red Riding Hood.
