Florida Grand Opera Offers Community Programs To Local Elementary School Kids

Florida Grand Opera continues to reach out to the diverse community in South Florida with the goal of making the arts more integral to people’s lives; by broadening and deepening cultural participation and sharing the wonderful of opera with over 20 communities in churches, parks, community organizations and libraries throughout the Tri-County.

Read Along, Sing A Song

This season-long program serves 14 community libraries in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties. Read Along, Sing A Song engages children and families with interactive sessions that combine reading with playing instruments, dancing or singing at important parts of the story, making reading more fun.

Open to all elementary students. Sessions are free and space is limited to 25 spots.
