State parks free on Veterans Day

Coupon for Fairchild Garden fest

Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden is having an Edible Garden Festival and scarecrow contest 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, and Sunday, Oct. 25.
