History Miami, the new name for the Historical Museum of Southern Florida, will host a free screening of the film Scene of the Crime, at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 29,with commentary on television news coverage of crime in Miami by historian Dr. Paul George and Rene Ramos, director of Miami Dade College’s Lynn and Louis Wolfson II Florida Moving Image Archives.
The exhibit Crime in Miami will close Aug. 29.
The museum has a free family fun day the second Saturday of every month. You can see the schedule for future events here.
