Family Magazine is putting on a free “Back-2-School Bash” and consignment clothing sale from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 28, at the Pinecrest Community Center, 5855 SW 111th St. The consignment sale will continue to 3 pm.
Activities will include workshops, safety demonstrations, Spiderman, face painting by Strawberry the clown, games and giveaways.
If you want to participate in the clothing sale, tag your clothes and drop them off between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Friday at the community center. You do not have to be present for the sale. Sellers get 60% of the proceeds, with 10% going to the community center an 30% to Family Magazine. You can also donate clothes, and shoppers can choose two free items from the donations.
