Free Yoga classes in Miami-Dade

yoga If you want to try yoga in South Florida, you have a number of opportunities to participate for free.

If you have cable TV, you can do free yoga at 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. weekdays on on the WLRN Learn Channel.

Here are some regular free classes:

  • Bayfront Park, in the Tina Hills Pavilion, downtown Miami, 6 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays and 9 a.m. Saturdays.
  • Margaret Pace Park, Northeast 18th Street and Biscayne Bay, Miami, 7 p.m. Wednesdays and 9:30 p.m. Saturdays.
  • Kennedy Park, Bayshore Drive in Coconut Grove, 9:30 a.m. Saturdays.
  • Miami Springs Senior Center, 343 Payne Dr., 9:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Fridays.
  • Legion Park, 6447 NE Seventh Ave., Miami, 10 a.m. Saturdays (separate children’s and adult classes).

Classes meet at Third Street in South Beach, at 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. daily, for a $5 donation.

If you know of another regular free class, let us know. The Free Yoga Foundation is trying to organize some additional classes.
