SCORE (the Service Corps of Retired Executives) presents a free seminar the second Tuesday of every month at the Miami Beach Public Library, 227 22nd Street.

The event, from 6:30 p.m to 8:30 p.m., offers advice on starting and running a small business.

SCORE also offers a number of inexpensive workshops on issues such as writing a business plan and marketing on the Internet.
