It isn’t just national parks that are free on Veterans Day, which is Wednesday, Nov. 11.
Most Florida state parks also are offering free admission on Veteran’s Day.
In Miami-Dade, they are:
- Oleta River State Park, 3400 N.E. 163rd St., North Miami.
- Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park, at the east end of the Rickenbacker Causeway on Key Biscayne.
In Broward, they are:
- John U. Lloyd Beach State Park, 6503 N. Ocean Drive, Dania Beach.
- Hugh Taylor Birch State Park, 3109 E. Sunrise Blvd., Fort Lauderdale.
