Free screenings of ‘Art:21′

The Patricia & Phillip Frost Art Museum at Florida International University, in partnership with Art:21, is presenting free sneak previews of the fifth season of Art:21-Art in the Twenty-First Century, the only prime time national television series focused exclusively on contemporary art.
The free screenings will be:
- Saturday, Oct. 24, Art:21 film marathon
11 a.m.: Fantasy
Noon: Compassion, followed by free tour of The Frost Art Museum, including The Missing Peace exhibition
1:30p.m.: Transformation, followed by free tour of The Frost Art Museum
3 p.m: Systems - Tuesday, Oct. 27. 6 p.m. Transformation
- Thursday, Oct. 29. 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.: Systems.
- Friday, Oct. 30. Noon: Compassion, by a Q&A led by Dr. Carol Damian and a free tour of The Frost Art Museum
The Frost Art Museum is at 10975 SW 17thSt., across from the Blue garage and adjacent to the Wertheim Performing Arts Center on the Modesto A. Maidique Campus. Admission is always free. Hours of operation are 10 a. m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. For more information, call 305-348-2890.
