davebarryWriters Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson will celebrate the launch of their new book, Peter and the Sword of Mystery, with a free pirate party starting at 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16, at Books and Books, 265 Aragon Ave., Coral Gables.

The event, led by the Miami Children’s Museum, will include costumes, contests, crafts and a chocolate fountain from Peterbrooke Chocolatier.
