Bash to buy kids’ art supplies

Sweat Records and Circuitree Records are joining forces to raise money for art supplies for students at Frederick Douglass Elementary School.

The benefit event, called “The Giving Tree,” will feature performances by Afrobeta, Junc Ops, OOO + Jiae Hwang, Starlund; DJs Romulo Del Castillo, CNTRL and PG-13); visual art by Bhakti Baxter, Kent Hernandez, 131 Projects and baked goods by Cadycakes. It takes place at 10 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 5, at The Vagabond, 30 NE 14th St., Miami.

Donation is $5 toward art supplies for students of Paul Gaeta, who does his DJ work under the name of PG-13 and is the founder of Circuitree.
