Free Family Fun Day at history museum

The Historical Museum of Southern Florida is planning a “Star-Spangled Saturday” this weekend as part of its free monthly Family Fun Days.
The red, white and blue celebration will feature quilting, U.S. history displays, African griot-style stories told by Madafo and jazz by the Melton Mustafa Quartet.
The event is 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 11, at the museum, 101 W. Flagler St. Miami. For information, 305-375-1492.
