Free health fairs, family fun days

Here are a few free and cheap events this weekend:

* Health and Wellness Festival 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 27, at Legion Park, 6447 NE Seventh Ave., Miami. Yoga classes, health screenings, kids’ fitness and activities, books and more, including information about health care reform.

* Health and Safety Expo 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 27, at the Dade County Fair and Exposition Center, 10901 Coral Way, Miami. Free screenings, immunizations and information.

* Family Fun Day at the Bass Museum of Art, 2121 Park Ave., Miami Beach, 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 28. Free admission, workshops for kids, free popcorn and snow cones for kids and coffee for parents.

* Family Fun Day at the Pelican Harbor Seabird Station, in the Pelican Harbor Marina on the 79th Street Causeway. Arts and crafts, tours, games. Boat ride to Pelican Island is $3 per person, with one child under 12 free with each ticket purchased.
