Free Taste of the Gables is Friday

Here’s your chance to get a free taste of some of the Coral Gables cuisine you normally couldn’t afford.

The Taste of the Gables – from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, May 29 — provides free samples from some of the restaurants participating in the June 1-14 Coral Gables Restaurant Week. Restaurant Week, which is actually two weeks, is a sort of Miami Spice for Coral Gables, in which restaurants offer discounted meals.

The Taste of the Gables will be in the Via between Tarpon Bend and Fritz and Franz (65 Miracle Mile). Negroni’s Trio will provide live Latin jazz.
