Free string quartet concert

musicThe SoBe Institute of the Arts string quartet, accompanied by an 8-year-old violin soloist, will present a free concert entitled “Starving Angels” (Music of Transcendence) at 8 p.m. Friday, April 17, at the SoBe Institute, 2150 Washington Ave., Miami Beach.

Performers will be Taichi Akutsu, violin; Adam Diderrich, violin; Rebecca Diderrich, viola; Tara Santiago, cello; and 8-year-old Sarah Shedroff, violin.

Donations welcome. A reception with the musicians follows the concert.
